Galena's Voyage to the Pacific
and
Beyond

This voyage is still underway. I departed Key West, FL, on 15
December 2010 with the intention of sailing around the world. I've
always held that one can't really say that he's circumnavigating
until he's at least halfway around. But having completed the longest
leg (4100-nm) I feel authorized to come back to this page and
formally make the claim.
I am using Facebook as a primary
forum for this trip. All who are not still Facebook-Free may see all
my pictures and postings there (http://www.facebook.com/bill.shaw)
as well as my other blog site, Live
Journal at: http://sv-galena.livejournal.com. As time and
internet connectivity permit I'll be consolidating and moving those
Facebook postings to this, my main web page.
